Commission
Some works do not emerge on their own.
They arise from a place, a light, a dialogue.
I create bespoke ceramic pieces — both wall-based and sculptural — designed to inhabit a specific space, whether intimate or architectural. Each commission begins with a meeting point: between an intention, a place, and the material.
Working on commission allows me to extend my research on surface, relief, and the memory of gesture, letting it resonate with your environment.
Wall installations, such as the one shown here, are composed of individual elements, shaped one by one.
Each fragment carries its own trace, variation, and rhythm.
Together, they form a living surface, evolving with light and perception.
A sensitive, tailored approach
Each collaboration begins with a conversation.
I take the time to understand the space — its constraints, its atmosphere — as well as your sensibility.
From there, I develop a proposal including:
— formats and dimensions
— composition and rhythm
— textures and material nuances
I primarily work with stoneware, often left raw or subtly nuanced, preserving the tactile richness and depth of the surface.
From concept to installation
Each project unfolds step by step:
— initial exchange and project definition
— sketches and visual intentions
— creation of the pieces in my studio
— firing and finishing
— installation
Every piece is entirely handmade.
Irregularities, variations, and tensions are an essential part of the work.
Let’s create together
My works are not meant to decorate, but to inhabit.
They invite a slower gaze, a different way of seeing, a connection through touch.
In a home, a passageway, or a public space, they bring a quiet presence — a form of grounding.
If you would like to imagine a unique piece for your space, I would be glad to hear from you.
